The June Friday Night Out will be at The Apartment restaurant, which is on the ground floor of Suria KLCC facing the fountains. We will be eating inside on the 2nd floor.
Come join us for a unique dining experience in the heart of the city. The Apartment is set up as separate dining areas designed around a real living space. We will be dining in "the closet" for this event. The menu offers a wide range of delectable dishes featuring seafood and other specialties. There are also many sumptuous desserts to choose from.

WALKING TOURS
Pudu Market Tour

Meet at the entrance of the Wenworth Hotel for an interesting trip with Angie Ng of Heritage Travel to the largest market in Kuala Lumpur. The two hour walking tour will include indoor and outdoor sections as well as the traditional Chinese shops that sell exotic food, medicine, and kitchen and household items. The tour will end at the local food court with a quick, simple Chinese lunch (non-halal).
The Wenworth Hotel is on Jalan Yew off of Jalan Tun Razak. It is near the Smart Tunnel at Kg. Pandan roundabout. Parking is available at the hotel or vacant land next door. Please wear comfortable, modest clothes and old closed toe shoes. Don’t forget your water and your camera.

KL Shopping Tour

Ann Tan, the general manager of the AAM, will conduct this tour of her favorite haunts in the Ampang/KLCC area. The shopping tour will include a visit to a local wet market, stores featuring leather products, batik and pearls, chocolate confectionary and, finally, the jade museum. The tour will finish with a scrumptious Chinese lunch.
Meet at the clubhouse at 10 a.m. for the carpool to the main shopping areas. The walking tour will last from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. when the group will enjoy their special lunch.

Porto Romano is a family-run restaurant that has been serving faithful customers at their City Square location since June of 2005. Their menu features Italian, Greek and Spanish inspired dishes. Repeat customers come back for their Braised Lamb Shank, thin-crust pizza, and Tiramisu. Finding Restoran Porto Romano is easy. If you are coming by car, parking is available at the Crown Princess Hotel. You may also park at the AAM office, which is a short distance from the Crown Princess Hotel. If you are coming by LRT, disembark at the Ampang Park station and then cross Jalan Tun Razak using the overhead pedestrian bridge.
A reservation has been made in the name of AAM for Tuesday, 24th June. If you wish to join us for lunch, please register with the AAM office, either in person or by calling 2142 0611, before Friday, 13 June.
